Farther Shore in Farther Grandview

We never had the chance--too drunk?--to introduce the idea of the next meeting. Except that it's my book at my house. Either March 14 or 7 is fine with me.

Anyhow, the book is "The Farther Shore," which seems very short with big type. I don't know too much more than that, except than it's received a lot of praise. Could be publisher's hyperbole, though.

So, whichever date is best for the majority of you is fine with me.

Address: 13112 5th Street, Grandview MO 64030. Mapquest if you need to.

OK, we're doing the 14th. I don't know what I said before, but the 14th will prevent the confusion of DST beginning, and chances are it'll be warmer than on the 7th... maybe.

I'll be there. I will not have read the book or even looked at it, but I will try and come with amusing anecdotes.

Come hungry; I'm going to make this really good (and easy) pulled pork for sandwiches, and I'll do beans & cole slaw, too.
